Gotham Uprising is a story I came up with for a Batman Elseworld. Its based on the Dark Knight Returns...I will share more info about the storyline soon! 
Batman has come back to Gotham after 7 years of inactivity. What caused this was Hush (who was Batmans greatest villain at the time) kidnapped and murdered Alfred and Tim Drake and in the process left Barbara Gordon in a camatose state. After this he broke his greatest rule by murdering Hush. After realizing what he had done he left Gotham and faked his own death...he eventually cam back a more dark,distant and angry man.He has perfected his training and has come back to take back Gotham.

Hush? The guy was a stooge for Riddler in his first appearance and nothing has changed since. He's one of Batman's most pathetic villains.
