Batman Film Villains!

The Batman films have always been part of my childhood....I watched them at least 5 times everyday (had them on cassette lol) and so I decided to draw my fav villains from each movie! These were actually rather quick sketches but I'm happy with how they came out

First up is Jack Nicholson as The Joker from the first Batman film. Even though Heath Ledger was an amazing Joker and his acting was brilliant, but for some reason I love this Joker more! He seems like he jumped right out of the comics! He use to scare the crap out of me as a kid though!

Next is Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman from Batman Returns! I have always felt she was the epitome of Catwoman. She is far more of a Catwoman than any of the Catwoman's from the 60's show (although I do love Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt!) and she was far more "Catwoman" than Anne Hathaway who I didn't care much for. Let's not even speak about Halle Berry....that was just horrible!

I then have Jim Carrey as The Riddler from Batman Forever! Although his Riddler wasn't anything close to the comic version, I can't help but love his version. He was definitely the best part of the film for me, as it's probably my least fav of the series.

Lastly is Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy from Batman And Robin! Although this film is considered the worst, it's a guilty pleasure of mine. Yes it was cheesy and didn't feel like the other films but it felt EXACTLY like a Batman comic from the 60's/70's so to me it's just a different take on Batman (I think it failed cause it was compared to Tim Burtons darker Bat films) However critics and fans alike agree the best part of the film was Poison Ivy! She came straight from the comics and I loved her character the first time I saw her! She started my obsession with Poison Ivy. The only thing about the character I detested were some of her horrible costumes! So I chose the first costume she wears in the film (which is her costume in the comics) and wish they had kept her in it throughout!
